The moot went well,
It was rather odd I reall had tought despite writing an article for it that I would not get to be there.
Infact I wasn’t ment to be there but really the fact that I got there ment I must have been ment to be there.
Circumstances coluded so that I ended up jumping into a taxi rushing into the Teachers club
and flinging open the door of the room just as the wonderful lady Marion Rose who facilates the disscusion had said
that I had written the article and lo and behold I arrived.
I had missed the chatting before and and the opening of scared space but as several people mention arrived at the most dramatic moment.

Dramatic for them nerve wrecking for me as the whole room turned and stared and I was told to sit at the top of the room and kick of the disscussion.
It was good but alas we as every run out of time.

Then it was after the formal dissucion time for hugs and catching up with people and meeting new people and to the bar in the teachers club.
Then it was fibbers, the place has actually changed, odd that.I still feel for the most part that I was really for the most part surrounded well not by kids
but emgering adults and it funny to see what fashion hazzards have happened.

Then it was a walk and an interesting talk along the board walk with my scratching post and looking at the moon ,
as they had finished work and meet me at  after 1:30am and didn’t think it odd,
Night time people are wonderful, esp those you can (mostly) talk until dawn with.
( um yes I am dating some one new not sure I mentioned that before.)

This movie is the classic example of why the Xmany franchise and Marvel pisses me off.
There are many differing and diverse strands to what is the Xmen univeres,
X:Men TAS”, “X:Men Evolution”, “Ultimate X-Men” et ect
but yet even with all of that they still produced somthing that had nothing
to do with any of that what so ever.

There was only ONE thing about it I actucally liked and that was the severed Sentinal head bounding out of the fog and landing centre stage;
the rest ranged from gut wrenching anger to making want to vomit.

There are so so many many things wrong with this waste of a film,
and I would consider myself more of a DC then a Marvel fan.

Statutory rape law ruled unconstitutional

The Supreme Court has unanimously declared unconstitutional the law under which any man is automatically guilty of a crime if he has sex with a girl under 15. The court made its decision on several grounds, including the failure to allow the defence that a genuine mistake had been made about a girl’s age.

The Irish Prisons Service has revealed that there are seven prisoners currently serving sentences solely on the basis of a conviction for statutory rape. They were convicted under legislation which has been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The law had made it an automatic crime to have sex with a girl under the age of 15.

Man freed as court rules detention ‘unlawful’

The High Court has ordered the immediate release of the man known as Mr A who was serving a three-year sentence for the unlawful carnal knowledge of a 12-year-old girl. Ms Justice Mary Laffoy said his detention had been rendered unlawful by last week’s Supreme Court decision striking down the law on statutory rape. The court also found that it did not have the jurisdiction to continue to hold the 41-year-old in custody to allow the State to go to the Supreme Court.
